Noemí Delgado
I am a trained massage therapist, birthworker, and childbirth educator. I provide care that is highly individualized, loving and empowering—because you know your body best!
I fell in love with birth and bodywork in 2019, when I spent a year living with my mentor Patricia who is a partera (traditional midwife) in El Salvador. She and her partera sisters taught me the magic of holistic, relationship-based care. I have been accompanying families through their pregnancy, birth and postpartum journeys as a community doula and bodyworker ever since. My work is guided by a deep connection to the earth and my ancestors, who respected birth as a ceremony and used massage as a “cure-all” technique.
I believe our bodies are portals through which we can access liberation during childbirth and beyond. I also believe that healing can only happen in community, and that is why my practice is grounded in reciprocity and relationship-building. I feel truly blessed by each family I get to join forces with. :)
Credentials: Certified Massage Therapist and graduate of San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork, Certified Full-Spectrum Doula with For the Village Birthworkers, Certified Childbirth Educator with Cornerstone, Certified Lactation Educator with UCSD, B.A in Psychology & Spanish, Recipient of traditional birth and postpartum care and bodywork teachings from Patricia Hernandez, Natividad Escobar, Maria Cristina Ortiz and Cecilia Hernandez.
